Any time you purchase something via mail order, open your credit card bill, go through a checkout line or make just about any other purchase, the company doing the selling attempts to "impulse-sell" you something else. Any time you purchase something mail order there are always sale flyers and other promotional materials included in the box with the product you ordered.

Throughout this network imagine how many boxes are shipped and received by customers every month - literally thousands and thousands! Most of those orders ship and include no back-end sales materials whatsoever.

Now imagine you are part of this network! In each and every order you send out you can include a promotional flyer stating sellers specialties and inviting your customers to visit the BGT site for specials and discounts.

Not only can these flyers be included in your orders but you can give them away to friends, leave them on tables at restaurants, leave them at local businesses, post them at grocery stores and whatever else you can think of!

All you have to do is drop the flyers into your outgoing orders to promote yourself and others in the network! You don't have to promote to your friends, family, and coworkers if you don't want to. You can promote specifically to your customers or through any other venue if you like and avoid contact with your friends and family altogether. A link to the flyer and the specials and discount pages of BGT can be posted by you everywhere.

"But can't I simply include my own flyer and material in my packages?," you ask. Sure, but those packages are for customer that have already purchased from you. Think about all the potential customers that aren't hearing about your business. When we promote each other, everyone wins!

Since participating sellers will be promoting YOU, we need a standard of some sort. After all, none of us want to refer our good paying customers to a fly-by-night seller, now do we? You would not want your name associated with someone not doing a quality job.

Sellers participating in Businesses Growing Together should ship within four (4) days of payment, unless you are providing a customized order or if item has been back-ordered. If the item has been back-ordered, the customer must be made aware of this fact within two (2) days of payment and given the opportunity to cancel not only the back-ordered portion of their order, but also the entire order without any service charges being applied.

Seller should send out shipping notices to buyers letting them know their items have been shipped.

Sellers must have an online business for at least one year.

Seller must have no more then two (2) negative feedbacks within a 30 day period whether promoting your own website or auctions.

Seller must mail out at least 5 packages a week.  Drop shipped items do not count.

Participating members MUST include a link to the online flyer at - http://www.businessesgrowingtogether.com/Flyer.html in outgoing emails, their web page and their blogs.

Participating members MUST include a link to the home page of this site - http://www.businessesgrowingtogether.com/ with the I am A Proud Member of Businesses Growing Together on their website and blogs.

So, Are You Ready to Participate in the Monthly Flyer Program?

First you need to join our network, simply click on Join BGT on the left or click here to get started and join us in promoting our businesses to thousands of potential customers.

A small cash PayPal payment of $5 is required for 6 consecutive months of advertising. This includes being in all versions of the flyer (email, print, and website), an ad on the bottom of the BGT home page. The website Flyer page is a business card size ad.

Feel free to promote your website or auctions in your ads.
You need to submit 2 different things:

#1 - You have 55 space to state your name and/or  tell about your business. A second line is resevered for your URL. You can see a sample here  Send your completed ads to BGT@BusinessesGrowingTogether.com and Donna of Donna's Mailboxes and More will put the flyer together for all participating sellers.

#2 - You have a space of 2” high by 3.5” wide to use for your promotion.  This is your business card size ad that will be placed on the flyer page of the BGT site.  You can use this sapce to advertise promotions, specials, discounts etc. This card can change each month or stay the same for the 6 months that you are in the program.  Remember all changes are due before the 20th of the preceding month. 

Acceptable formats for your ads are: GIF or JPG.  On GIF or JPG files, if you are able to, please set your final resolution at 600 DPI. Feel free to submit your ad in color or black and white.  

We will pull all the ads together and create the flyer that will be included in your outgoing packages. You print the PDF file that will be sent to you and include it in your packages in black and white or in color.

We will provide a BGT signature line to include in each email you send out.
